Days 10 (6.25.2019): Short and Sweet by Max Kornblut

Listen, I was not originally meant to do a fourth blog entry, but things constantly change with icnext. That’s just how we roll. So here I am. This morning we visited a program called BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change. Here we met up with Elliot Varisrub Glassenberg. He was a very energetic and considerate man who educates people on secular judaism. The time spent with him and his associates was surprisingly enjoyable. I had gone into this seminar with the same mentality that I’ve had for much of this trip. This mentality was essentially me thinking “oh boy, here we go again”. Luckily for me, I was wrong. I had an exceptionally enjoyable time discussing the Israeli Declaration of Independence, and then heading outside to a vast garden in which we picked weeds and invasive species of plants. All in all, simple and short, this was a nice experience.

This is Max Kornblut, signing off for what I hope is the last time.
