Calling serious-minded 8th-grade students . . . Embark on an epic journey of Israel education with the Cleveland Jewish Education Center of Cleveland! During the Second Semester of 2024, take this opportunity to study the great ideas of Jewish thought and the history of modern Israel.
The participants will join other serious-minded students to explore the remarkable story of the foundation of Israel, studying about the heroic men and women who created the state, and learning about those defining moments – like the recovery of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War – that changed Jewish history forever.
The course teacher will be Rabbi Scott Roland*
Our Cleveland Shin Shinim will join the learning too
Due to generous funding by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, this course is offered free of charge.
