On the day of the 20th, we went to a national park called The Sachne. The Sachne consists of a pool that is fed by the natural springs located in the lower Galilee near Beit Shean. I was really excited for this because we would be getting some much needed rest and relaxation. The water was so clear and nice it felt like an oasis from the often dusty and dirty environments we find ourselves in throughout our trip. There were also these tiny fish that would nibble the dead skin off one’s feet. I tried my best to stay still and not react to their ticklish nibbles but found myself being swarmed with these tiny goons; I could not resist flailing. After about an hour of splash wars, swimming around, and getting swarmed by fish, it was time for us to go on to dinner, and we had to leave our beautiful oasis behind.
